The course map remains somewhat dynamic... so please continue to check back until all permissions are in order. We do not anticipate tremendous change; however, we must work closely with the authorities and abide by all of their mandates.

The individual leg maps will be loaded onto the website soon. These leg maps will come complete with elevation charts...so stay tuned!

We RUN WHERE THE LOCALS RUN! That also means that safety is our first priority!

This course starts in Athens, home of the Georgia Bulldogs…so plan to arrive early to experience this gem of a city. Runners will then wind through beautiful countryside and many charming southern towns, toward the stunning vistas of the North Georgia Mountains and the Bavarian town of Helen, our mid-point Oasis. The second half of our course will weave runners through a variety of quaint neighborhoods which pepper the way as the population expands toward the journeys end in the very charming suburb of Atlanta known as Historic Roswell. Teams will finish along picturesque Riverside Park along the Chattahoochee River. This course is something to experience for locals and visitors alike. And for those of you who will be visiting…you and your cheering section will see many areas of Georgia you will want to experience after the race!
