Register now for Georgia's premier 200 mile, 2-day relay race adventure!  Registration will be limited to 100 teams for the inaugural race, so sign up soon! There are two easy ways to register:

Complete the form, enclose a check made out to Southern Odyssey Relay in Georgia, and mail everything to:

We'll confirm receipt and you're good to go. Please note that if you register via mail, you will need to complete the entire process via mail or email.  Your team will not be listed on Active.com, only the online registrants will be visible there. 

So, what does it cost? It's pretty simple to figure that out too.

The regular, everyday registration fee is $960 per team.  Because we need to order t-shirts in advance, we can only guarantee technical tees to those registered by August 15, 2010!

Also, don't forget we have our volunteers to consider. Volunteers are an essential component of every relay race... they allow the good races to be promoted to great! We need them! So, here's the deal. If two or more of your relay team members live within 50 miles of any point of the relay race course, you are required to supply at least two volunteers. Trust us, they will have a blast and will want to return year-after-year. So, why is this under the dollars and cents section? Because, if you don't intend to supply at least two volunteers as required, your registration fee must include an additional $75 so we can hire two "volunteers" to fill the void.  Please get us the names and contact information of your volunteers at least thrity days before the race!

Cancellation Policy


If you can't make it to the race we will work with you on a discount for the following year, but we can't give refunds.  Our costs are set based upon registrations.  Last minute cancellations don't change that, so we can't refund your fee.

If a significant event occurs on race weekend and Georgia officials determine that it is unsafe for us to hold the relay, we will have no choice but to cancel it. Notification of cancellation will occur through e-mails to all team captains and through updates to the Southern Odyssey Relay website.

Based on the complexity of executing this event, the need for planned public service support, permit arrangements, etc., it would simply not be possible to plan a "rain date". In addition, a significant percentage of the expenses are assumed in the months ahead of race weekend. As a result, we are not in the position to offer a refund.
